Travel vaccinations – Specific immunizations given to travelers prior to going to certain areas to protect them from acquiring serious, life-threatening diseases. Travel vaccines are divided into three general kinds: routine vaccines, recommended vaccines, and required vaccines.
It is important to get vaccinated at least 4 to 6 weeks before you travel. This will give the vaccines time to start working, so you are protected while you are traveling. It will also usually make sure there is enough time for you to get vaccines that require more than a single dose.
COVID-19 vaccination – Nectacare is part of the Ministry of Health and Child Care (MOHCC) National COVID-19 vaccination program. Our facilities at Nectacare Chromes Mines Hospital (Shurugwi), Nectacare Shabani Mashava Mine Hospital (Zvishavane) are administering the vaccine under the guidance of the MOHCC.
